Julia was born in Hessen but has been living in Berlin for the past 15 years. She studied Communication Studies, Psychology, and German Studies in Jena, Münster, and Bari, Italy. After completing her studies, she spent eleven years heading the Family & Society and Health & Nutrition departments at the German Press Agency (dpa). Most recently, she worked as a senior editor at a PR agency, specializing in clients from the gastronomy and travel sectors. She has been working as a public relations officer at the FMP since 2025.
