After a few years studying and working abroad, Nina joined the Medicinal Chemistry research group as a PhD student. Her research focuses on the design and synthesis of covalent allosteric inhibitors and chemical probes for non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatases. Apart from chemistry and drug design, she is passionate about dance, literature and dramatic arts. In her free time, you’ll find her cycling, on her yoga mat or enjoying a performance in one of Berlin’s theatres.
