M.Sc.
I completed my undergraduate studies in chemistry at FU Berlin, where a research internship on fluorinated peptides under Prof. Koksch sparked my interest in peptide chemistry. I further explored this field during an internship in Prof. Salaita's lab at Emory University, focusing on mechanobiology and gaining first experience with biochemistry techniques and fluorescence microscopy. After completing my master’s thesis in the Hackenberger lab, I was happy to stay for PhD studies. My current research focuses on developing novel cell-penetrating peptides for improved protein delivery in living cells and its cytosolic quantification.
