Kaixuan Liu obtained her Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the Institute of Materia Medica, Peking Union Medical College (China), where she focused on the development of fluorescent probes for bacterial infection imaging. During her master’s studies, she gained experience in molecular imaging and chemical probe design. In 2025, she joined the Medicinal Chemistry group at the FMP as a PhD student, to continue developing novel fluorescent probes for biological applications and exploring their potential in chemical biology research.
