Koketso Mogwera

Koketso holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Her research focus was on the membrane permeability and transport studies of Coenzyme A, its intermediates and antimetabolites. She went on to join H3D at University of Cape Town where she is involved in target-based discovery of novel antimalarial agents. She received a TWAS-DFG cooperation visit award to visit the JB Lab at FMP. Her work in the JB lab focuses on DNA labelling strategies. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running and she an avid performing arts enthusiast.
