Alan grew up in Uruguay and moved to the United States to do his Bachelor of Science degree at Minerva University, in San Francisco. Currently, he is in his last year of undergraduate studies in molecular biology and neuroscience, while doing a year abroad in Germany. Outside the lab, he enjoys playing badminton, running, and traveling.
