Dr.
Nach seinem Chemiestudium in Erlangen und einem einjährigen Aufenthalt in der Weck-Gruppe an der NYU machte JB 2010 seinen Abschluss im Labor von Ivana Ivanovic-Burmazovic. Sein Interesse an Biologie führte ihn in das Labor von Dirk Trauner an der LMU München, wo er 2014 promovierte und seine Arbeit mit Kai Johnsson zunächst an der EPFL und dann am Max-Planck-Institut für medizinische Forschung in Heidelberg fortsetzte. Seit 2020 ist er am FMP als Juniorgruppenleiter im Bereich Chemische Biologie tätig.
